On the Skew

Good Evening All, I am just going to sneak this one in quickly as it’s getting a bit late in the day and I still have some preparation work to do for my class tomorrow.  I have some new ladies coming, they have been recommended by a friend of mine so that’s lovely!  Although they have done a bit of card making, they haven’t done very much.  I wanted to make sure that they had a pretty card to make which included several techniques, matting and layering, punching, rose rolling and making ribbon bows.  I thought I would share it with you all.

card 27th feb 001

The card is 14cm x 14cm.  The paper, ribbons, card and pearl are from my own collection.  The roses are Marianne English Rose.  I have used a leafy flourish from Cheery Lynn and a corner die from Tattered Lace it’s Florentine, Swan.  I punched the lacy border using an EK Success punch and I typed my own sentiment and cut it out using Marianne Passe Partout Oval die and then matted it onto one of the smaller dies from X-Cut Doorplate die, the last layer is from Spellbinder’s Timeless Rectangles.  I hope you like it folks.  Wishing you all good things, hugs Annie xx

    • Hi Marianne, thank you for your kind comments! I don't know how to make the pictures any larger I'm afraid, when I type my blog and put a photograph in, it just does it. I am sure there is somewhere where I could make them a little larger, I will have to have a look. Love Annie xxx

Hi! Glad you stopped by, please leave me a comment and come back soon! Hugs Annie xx
