Good Morning to all crafty people tuning into my blog! I am having a purge and putting a bit more of my older/less complicated material on my website. There are three reasons for this, firstly you can then see how my style has changed and developed over the years, to show that not all of my work is in-depth and complicated and finally that I do cater for people wishing to enter into card making. I wanted beginners to be re-assured that they can make some lovely cards from their first lesson! Enjoy your trip round my website all!
This card measures 8″x8″. The paper I have used is from a pad by First Edition, Spring Feast. The corner die is the Corner Flourish from Bosskut. The leaves are Marianne Stem & Leaf die. The butterfly is cut from a Martha Stewart Punch, Monarch Butterfly. The flower on the right is made up using firstly Marianne’s Flower Fantasy Die and the lacey flowers on the top are cut from Doohickey Bon Voyage Die. I have placed a gold bead cup in the centre of the flower and dropped a crystal in the centre. I cut a large circle from a contrasting paper from the Spring Feast pad collection and then die cut a Spellbinders Scalloped Oval and a Spellbinders Oval which I then matted on top of the large circle. I stamped the flowers and coloured them in gently with my Pro Markers. I typed my own sentiment and cut it out using Spellbinders Labels Four. All gems are from my own collection. Have a great day! Hugs, Annie xx
